Responsibilities
- Implement the site’s, office & Data Centers safety program in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Assist the Manager in all regulatory inspections and audits (Corporate HSE audit, CERT) and ensure agreed actions are promptly implemented.
- Conduct, lead and participate in risk assessments and considering how risks could be reduced;
- Outlining and updating safe operational procedures which identify and take account of all relevant hazards;
- Carrying out regular site, offices& Data centers offices inspections to check policies and procedures are being properly implemented and keeping records of the inspection findings and producing reports that suggest improvements
- Maintaining HSE records to ensure compliance in accordance with regulatory requirements and the Group’s HSE policy
- Leading in-house training and promotional activities with managers and employees about health, safety and environmental issues and risks
- Participate in incident / accident investigation, review incident / accident reports and recommend effective mitigation measures
- Being up to date with new legislation and maintaining a working knowledge of all Health, Safety and environmental legislation and any developments that may affect the employer’s industry;
- Producing management reports.
- Involvement with project team on qualification of new equipment and modification on site;
- Advising on a range of specialist areas, e.g. hazardous substances, noise, , occupational diseases and environment issues, etc.
- Endorsement of permit to work system and on-site inspection to ensure safe work procedures are being followed
- Ensure compliance with HSE, Quality policies and defined procedures. Take management action on any violation of HSE rules. Bring out unsafe conditions and acts / procedures for correction
- Managing the security & Safety operations within the site, offices & Datacenters.
Requirements
- BSc/BA in safety management or relevant field.
- IGC,PSM certified with HSE experience will be preferred
- Proven experience as HSE Professional
- Deep understanding of legal health and safety guidelines
- Ability in producing reports and developing relevant policies
- Good knowledge of data analysis and risk assessment
- Excellent organizational and motivational skills
- Outstanding attention to detail and observation ability
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
- Valid qualification in occupational health and safety

HSE Executive – Karachi
